This is what I look like first thing in the morning.
I really had no idea. I guess I must be the man who looked in the mirror and then promptly forgot what he looked like. I guess that is why God created digital cameras and blogs. Now I will forever know what I look like.

You’re brave! I try not to look in a mirror first thing in the morning. And if I’m in that much denial to myself, you can bet there will be no taking of pictures first thing in the morning, let alone posting them!
CM, I agree!! Rae, you are a brave woman to post a picture of yourself on the web no less for all the world to see. But the comment and the post bring up an interesting question for us to consider. If we are made in the image and likeness of God why should we be afraid of sharing our first morning pictures with the world? Not that I am recommending that we do :), I myself wouldn’t want to scare the children.
I agree with both comments – a brave woman you are. And why don’t we feel comfortable with the world seeing us first thing in the morning if we are truly God’s sons and daughters?
I don’t look like the same person … right when I wake up and after having put myself together. I’ve never taken a first-thing-in-the-morning photo, might break the camera. I look terrible without (expensive!) makeup. ::sigh::
